New Manager of Operations at the PDCC
The Parksville & District Chamber of Commerce are pleased to announce the appointment of long time Chamber Board member and current Past-President Kim Burden as the Interim Manager of Operations. Burden has been contracted on an interim basis through to January 2010 to oversee the Chamber operations and assess their needs going forward.
Kim has a great deal of experience with the Parksville & District Chamber of Commerce, having served seven years on the Board of Directors. Gary Child, Chamber President states “ It is important that we get a feel for where we are heading before hiring a replacement for the departing Mike Boucier.” He said “We decided as a Board that it was better to examine what the Chamber needs rather than filling the position without an assessment”
