The Business Plan is the annual working document providing direction to the chamber team for the calendar year 2013. The Strategic Goals contained in the three year Strategic Plan are listed in the Strategic Plan with the specific detail on how these items are to be achieved or advanced this year.

The 2012 – 2015 Strategic plan focuses on Advocacy, Economic Health, continuing development of member value.

2010 Annual General Meeting

Our 2010 Annual General Meeting was hosted at The Beach Club Resort. President Gary Child laid out the goals for the coming year, and a new Board of Directors was elected. The Executive and Board members in attendance were sworn in by M.L.A. Ron Cantelon.

The Parksville and District Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit organization comprised of over 480 businesses, professionals, residents and community groups working collectively to establish and promote businesses and services for economic and social prosperity Parksville and the surrounding areas. The Board of Directors is elected by the membership and determines policies and programs. The staff employed by the board is responsible for organizing and executing the Chamber of Commerce's programs and policies.

The Parksville & District Chamber of Commerce proudly represents over 450 businesses and is continuously looking for ways to support its Members and seeking new entrepreneurs, who will select Parksville as their place to LIVE, WORK and PLAY.

Committed to achieving what needs to be done

The Committees and Task Forces of the Parksville & District Chamber of Commerce are volunteer committees consisting of members of the Chamber of Commerce committed to achieving the Strategic Plan which is laid out by the Board of Directors annually. Currently, there are four committees of the Board and two Operations Committees. All committees have a member of the Board as a chair or member of the committee and committee membership is drawn from the membership of the Parksville & District Chamber of Commerce.
