With our ethical approach to farming, you can have peace of mind about purchasing our grass-fed beef and free-range eggs in our farm market store. We have curated a wide selection of the Island’s best farm-fresh food and created a traditional farm market experience on the edge of our farm for our customers to enjoy.

BCYF works with young farmers across the province to provide resources, networking opportunities and leadership development. We're grateful for their support and engagement as we continue to grow our family farm.

At Springford Farm Market, you can pick up our own farm-raised meat, eggs, and in-season produce, as well as a full selection of Island-grown produce and Island-made artisan foods.

Eggs

From the smallest to our extra-large 'super jumbos', our free-range eggs are laid, collected and graded right here at Springford Farm. Our golden yolks are second to none!

Beef

Our beef is grass-fed and grass-finished with our own forage grown right here on our farm. Our beef is free of hormones and antibiotics, and we take great pride in the care and wellness of our animals.

Market Vendors

We are committed to supporting our fellow Vancouver Island small businesses. You can find an ever-growing selection of Island-grown or Island-produced food in our farm store. Some of our current farm market vendors:

  • Wild Culture Bakery

    All of their breads are crafted in the ancient and traditional French manner using only certified organic flours, grains and seeds leavened with a natural wild bacterial culture made from flour and water.

  • Tannadice Farms

    Healthful. Ethical. Local.
    At Tannadice Farms, they take great pride in producing high quality, succulent pork products for their friends and neighbours in the Comox Valley and beyond for over forty years.

  • Cowichan Milk Company

    A family farm in the Cowichan Valley milking and raising 50 Holstein cows. They grow all their own grass to feed their cows year-round, and ensure a healthy and caring approach to their cows, providing the best tasting dairy products from right here on Vancouver Island.
