Looking for some summer fun?

The Parksville and District Chamber of Commerce invites you to  come and experience the excitement of downtown Parksville’s annual Summer by the Sea Street Market, being held every Tuesday night from June 15 to August 17, from 6:30 pm -9:30 pm.

Over 120 exceptional artisans offer everything from wrought iron work, rock candles to wooden toys; we definitely have something for everyone.  Add tasty food and a fabulous line-up of entertainment for your enjoyment.  Come out and support our local merchants, as well as vendors traveling from all over Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands.

If you're interested in becoming a vendor, please fill in the application form below.  The Street Market Coordinator can be reached at the Chamber office, 250-248-3613, Mondays from 9-1, starting February 1.

Food Vendors & Massage Therapists - A photocopy of your license is required.

If you are unable to attend any market, it is the responsibility of the Vendor to phone 250-248-3613 by Monday noon, prior to market date. Failure to do so, any two nights, will result in your space being reassigned for the remainder of the summer.

Spaces are numbered and measure approximately 10’ x 10’. All merchandise displayed is to remain in your allocated space. Vendor will provide his or her own table and/or tent. Vendors will not be permitted to change assigned sites under any circumstances. The Street Market Coordinator reserves the right to re-assign sites as they deem necessary. Craig Street Merchants and local businesses have priority over site assignments.

The organizers will NOT be responsible for any theft, breakage or injury during any event. It is expected that each Vendor carry his or her own liability insurance.

Please do not obstruct the public from entering shops along Craig Street either during the market or during set-up or takedown. The Market begins at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 9:30 p.m. No take down until 9:30 pm.

  • Vendors are required to remove any and all garbage, leaving their sites clean and clear.
  • Vehicles will be permitted in designated areas for loading and unloading only.
  • Vehicles must be removed from the designated areas prior to setting up your stall.
  • Keep in mind - parking in close proximity to the market should be left available for customers.
  • The market is a non-smoking area for Vendors.
The Chamber has the discretion to end the market early if weather conditions or extreme situations occur, otherwise Vendors will remain setup until 9.30 p.m.

Refunds: A full refund, less a $35.00 administration fee, will be provided to vendors who cancel prior to the start of the Street Market. No refunds will be provided after the first night of the market.

NO flea market, second hand or liquidated items to be sold. We reserve the right to decline goods, which do not follow our guidelines and to jury all products being sold by Vendors.
