The week of October 26 the Parksville & District Chamber of Commerce will be hosting our All that Glitters GALA with a fun online auction and finishing off with a Friday night curbside pick up dinner from our partner restaurants. We’ve had a busy and very productive year at the Chamber and we’re very proud of the work we’ve accomplished with lots more to come! To name a few of our projects: Regional Economic Development strengthened by the signing of an MOU, representing a cooperative relationship focusing on promoting business and tourism in the Oceanside Region, working with the Oceanside Initiatives Economic Development office, Orange Bridge Business District Banners, Support Local campaign, Chamber Champions Radio promotion, we raised our collective Chamber voice on behalf of business, we won some awards, year-round operation of the Visitor Information Centre, a Business Expo, managed a downsized Summer by the Sea Street Market, created a virtual Canada Day Celebration, Red Chairs campaign and hosted the Parksville Holiday Light Up…. We continue to work together with our members and partners to promote the economic and social prosperity of Parksville and District and with your corporate donation, our successes will continue.
