Quality Foods opened its new flagship store in Parksville, B.C. in 2021. The 50,000 sq ft store includes 40,000 sq ft of store and a 10,000 sq ft mezzanine. The store is more than double the size of the former store in the city and includes a large kitchen for prepared meals, a full service in-store butcher shop, a smoothie bar, Perk Avenue Café, a cheese counter, a sushi bar, Chinese take-out, floral department and a bakery. The mezzanine serves as a community meeting place and features a restaurant/lounge, a kitchen, library and an outdoor patio.
